You By You - What do you see?

It has been a little quiet at Photogmo lately. We just had the holidays. So I thought it would be good to see you all. So how about over the next two weeks you submit to the challenge a photo of yourself taken by your self , and not using self timers or remotes.

I am looking forward to seeing your photo.

On behalf of Vincent.

Thanks

Roy

My Picture made it to print.

I am very pleased to say that my Photo of the Myer Centre made it to print, albeit as very small thumbnail, and you must not blink as the pictures flash by or you will miss it. At least it is my very first published and acknowledged photo. This is how I heard the news:

Hi Roy,

I am delighted to let you know that your submitted photo has been selected for inclusion in the newly released fourth edition of our Schmap Adelaide Guide:

When you click on the link - you will see 3 columns scroll down the middle column until you get to Myer shopping Centre. This will bring up the information about the shopping centre in the right column. Look at the thumbnails as the scroll - you then should see mine scroll by. By clicking on my picture will take you to my Flickr site, where you can, if you wish, see all the pics i've posted on Flickr.

Enjoy

Myer Centre Building

I very recently received the following message in relation to one of my photos I have posted on Flicker. The photo is of the Myer Centre Building in Rundle Mall in Adelaide in South Australia:

Hi Roy,

I am writing to let you know that one of your photos has been short-listed for inclusion in the fourth edition of our Schmap Adelaide Guide, to be published later this month.

www.schmap.com/shortlist/p=57988913N00/c=SF50051482

Clicking this link will take you to a page where you can:
i) See which of your photos has been short-listed.
ii) Submit or withdraw your photo from our final selection phase.
iii) Learn how we credit photos in our Schmap Guides.
iv) Browse online or download the second edition of our Schmap Adelaide Guide.

While we offer no payment for publication, many photographers are pleased to submit their photos, as Schmap Guides give their work recognition and wide exposure, and are free of charge to readers. Photos are published at a maximum width of 150 pixels, are clearly attributed, and link to high-resolution originals at Flickr.

Our submission deadline is Monday, October 15. If you happen to be reading this message after this date, please still click on the link above (our Schmap Guides are updated frequently - photos submitted after this deadline will be considered for later releases).
